As we enter the season of knit sweaters, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and Gilmore Girls– Starbucks Coffee acts as an essential component of setting the tone of Fall 2023. Whether the size is Tall, Grande, Venti, or Trenta, it is hard to deny the toasty-warm deliciousness of Starbucks’ seasonal menu. As we proceed with this list of the top 5 seasonal Starbucks drinks, it is important to note that this applies to all of my more savory coffee-loving fall girlies, rather than sweet dessert-loving girlbosses. In other words, these are drinks, not desserts:
5- Pumpkin Chai Shaken Espresso Grande shaken espresso w/ Oatmilk No classics syrup 1 pump pumpkin 1 pump chai
This dairy-free delicacy is a perfect mix of sweet with a touch of bitterness. The thinness of the Oatmilk combined with the rich chai flavor– accented by a slight hint of pumpkin completes the drink.
4- Pumpkin Spiced Latte w/ Oatmilk No whip
This one is a classic– you can never go wrong with a hot Pumpkin Spiced Latte, with Oatmilk. The lightness of the Oatmilk mixed with the pumpkin cinnamon flavor is just enough to wake you up on a chilly fall morning.
3- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Grande cold foam cold brew 2 pumps of sugar-free vanilla instead of regular vanilla in the cold brew 1 pump of pumpkin in the cold brew instead of regular vanilla in the cold foam
This is similar to the previous drinks but has a more toasty-warm vanilla flavor to it.
2- Apple Crisp Shaken I Espresso Grande apple crisp shaken espresso 2 pumps apple brown sugar syrup 1 pump sugar-free vanilla
This drink used to be on the Starbucks menu but was taken away before being re-added this season. The sugar-free vanilla has a slightly more savory flavor, leaving the drink feeling more like a coffee, rather than a frappuccino. Personally, I don’t love the original composition of the drink, but by adding an extra pump of apple brown sugar the flavors achieve a more sweet, harmonious taste.
1- Iced Caramel macchiato with Extra Caramel Drizzle, Oatmilk, 2 Shots espresso
The final drink is one of the sweetest, so if you like caramel: this is for you! This drink will give you a little buzz of energy, so you can feel energized for your school day.
Notable mentions:
Oatmeal
Oatmeal, one of the most classic yet simple food items at Starbucks, can’t be forgotten. The agave, raisin, almond, and brown sugar additional toppings also must not be forgotten. If you’re looking for a tasty breakfast item to try, get oatmeal!
Pumpkin muffin
The pumpkin muffin at Starbucks has also acquired some popularity so far this year. There is a savory flavor of bread mixed with sweet hints of chai, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice.
Pumpkin loaf
The pumpkin loaf is similar to the pumpkin muffin but with more of a moist, fluffy texture. The pumpkin taste is strong, so this is for the fall lovers, for sure!
Now that you have a delicious list of pumpkin-spice sweetness, have fun trying out the different drink orders throughout the month. Happy sipping!
