1.Transformers One
Transformers One is an amazing movie and by far the best Transformers movie. Transformers One has amazing animation and incredible voice acting. The story is incredibly compelling and impactful. The action is immersive and engaging. This movie perfectly tells the story of the birth of Optimus Prime and the falling out that occurred between Optimus and Megatron. The humor is a little childish and unfunny, however there are funny moments that really make you chuckle. The characters are fun and relatable. The movie is incredible, and doesn’t really have any truly bad qualities.
2. Transformers
The original Transformers movie is a classic nostalgic venture depicting Optimus Prime as a harbinger of peace rather than a warmongering savage searching for blood, as shown in the later films. The humor in Transformers can be a little over the top, especially sexual humor. However, the humor in this movie is what makes it so nostalgic and awesome to rewatch. The star of this show is, of course, everybody’s first celebrity crush, Megan Fox. Transformers is action-packed to the brim, and like most of the Transformers movies, has some of the most brutal kill scenes in film history. Transformers is a must-watch, and a classic movie, despite it not being true to the actual story or designs of transformers.
3.Bumblebee
The Bumblebee movie is underrated. It is the first movie to adapt the original designs of the Transformers. It is also the first Transformers movie to have good human characters with a compelling storyline surrounding them. The dynamic between Bumblebee and the main character, played by Hailee Steinfield,is quite wholesome. The action is fun, and engaging, and the villains actually prove to be a challenge to Bumblebee. However, the humor in Bumblebee is quite lacking and forgettable. Despite the story around the human character being quite good, the overarching story is quite forgettable, and I wouldn’t be able to tell you why Bumblebee is fighting the villains in the first place.
4. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon overall is a fun movie, however, to like this movie requires one thing, to turn your brain off. The sheer goofiness of this movie is actually absurd, nevertheless, it is still fun to watch. Dark Of The Moon is the most brutal Transformers movie ever, it literally has Optimus Prime committing war crimes. Dark Of The Moon is hysterical, mainly because the makers of the Transformers movies finally realized that Shia LeBeouf is the funniest part of every movie and they finally gave him full reign to show that. The worst part of this movie is the fact that Megan Fox is not in it.
5. Transformers: Rise Of The Beast
Transformers: Rise Of The Beast is a decent movie. The movie is quite entertaining and engaging during the beginning and the end of the movie, however, everything else is completely forgettable. The human characters lack depth, and the story jumps around all the time. The villain is not intimidating at all, and Optimus Prime is a revenge-hungry idiot. The animal transformers, the Maximals, are kind of just there and don’t really do anything. All the transformers , besides Optimus and Bumblebee, also don’t really do anything of substance.
6. Transformers: The Last Knight
This movie kinda just sucks. The whole marketing was based off of an evil Optimus Prime, however, he is only really evil in the movie for two seconds out of the 3 minutes he was in the movie. The story sucks, the humor sucks, the villain is forgettable, and everyone just seems like they don’t want to be in the film The only really unforgettable part of this movie, and the only real reason to watch this movie, is Anthony Hopkins who actually seems like, or atleast pretends to want to be in the movie.
7. Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen is just terrible all around. The main problem with the movie is the script. The jokes are simply overused and redundant sexual innuendos. Anytime a character says anything to try and make the situation seem dire, it just comes off as cringe. Optimus is in the movie for two seconds before he dies. The entire plot is completely forgettable. The main bad guy that the whole marketing was based off of was in the movie for a fraction of a second before having his life expunged by a revived Optimus. This movie just sucks in every way possible.
8. Transformers: Age of Extinction
Transformers Age of Extinction is basically just Chinese propaganda. The movie really wants to hammer in the idea that only the Chinese government can do certain things. It also has an addiction of continuously telling the audience that this over age guy is legally able to date this under girl in the state of Texas. The Dinosaur transformers, which were used for marketing purposes, did literally nothing, they were kind of just used as horses for transportation and that’s it. The Transformers themselves have zero chemistry with one another, and the movie makes it feel like they really hate each other.
