The Patriot spirit is strong as Primary, Lower, and Upper School Chorus will unite for a 6:30pm pre-game Viewpoint Homecoming performance to remember.
Students have been busy preparing for the event in the past month. “I’m super hyped for this Homecoming game and to sing our fight songs while we cheer our winning team on!” yelled Lower School Choir singer, Violet Figueroa (’33).
Upper School Choir Director Ms. Dietsch explained, “The Upper School Concert Choir will be performing the National Anthem just before kickoff. Homecoming is an event that our choir members look forward to each year!”
In addition to the Upper School Choir, Ms. Nguyen, Lower School Choir Director, says they will be performing “Wavin’ Flag,” by K’naan, and the Primary School Choir will be performing “Best Day of My Life,” by American Authors.
This pre-game program is unique because Primary through Upper School will be united together on one field. Ms. Dietsch says, “We cherish the opportunity to participate in events that celebrate our Viewpoint community. Homecoming is the largest celebration of school spirit of the school year. I love that Viewpoint finds special ways to include so many of our students through the performing arts, community service, and athletics! We love supporting our friends in the band, dance team, Primary and Lower School Choirs… as well as the cheer and football teams!”
Homecoming at Viewpoint is more than a football game—it’s a celebration of community. The Upper School Choir will kick off the evening, bringing the connections they’ve built all year into the spotlight. “We are already so connected through our performances and class time,” says Jake Roth (’26), and that bond will be evident during their performance.
