Every homecoming Viewpoint’s Service Learning Honor Society, CORE(Community OutReach for Everyone), hosts a bake sale during homecoming. Members of CORE vote on a charity in September to donate the funds to. This year, we are donating to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation(BCRF). BCRF is the highest rated breast cancer research organization in the US, founding 260 scientists across 16 countries. CORE will be selling homemade baked goods made by the members. Stop by to get a sweet treat and support a good cause!

Megan Greenberg is a junior at Viewpoint School. She has been at the school since kindergarten and is excited to write for the Patriot Newspaper for the second year. Megan is an avid Dodgers and USC fan and loves animals, especially her three dogs. She is a member of the volleyball and swim programs. Megan enjoys writing articles for the paper about sports, music, mental health, and other current events.
