The Viewpoint Guide for Newbies!

As we are at the start of the new school year, we have to start warming up as well as adapting to our surroundings. Our campus is included in a place where sometimes all need refreshers around this time of the year! So below is a basic guide to our campus:

 

 

  • Robertson Family Field – Located on the far west side of campus, the Robertson Family Field is mainly used by primary and lower school students as their immediate field. Yet, sports like baseball or softball practice and compete on this field as well. 


  • Blaney Patio – Blaney Patio is a gathering area for many small events, including the production of the Little Red Engine, performed by the kindergarten class.


  • Rasmussen Family Pavilion – Athletic Center located on the west side of campus, is mainly used by primary and lower school students as their immediate gym. Mainly used for sports like basketball and volleyball, but it also holds events (like the Winter Formal last year!).


  • Lower Pool – located on the westside of campus, the pool is mainly used by lower and primary school students for PE.


  • Lower School Classrooms – classrooms for students entering grades 3-5!


  • Primary School Classrooms and Playground – classrooms for students entering TK-2nd grade! Playground is mainly used by primary school students.


  • Founders’ Hall- located nearer to the west side of campus, the Founders’ Hall holds the administrative offices.


  • Ecolet – Holds our garden, the start of the stream that runs throughout the length of the campus, and holds events(like EARTHCHELLA). Also, the ecolet is a quiet place where students can complete their work with the surrounding pleasures of nature. 


  • Academic Hall – Known as the entrance to our campus, this building holds offices to all the Admission directors and officers.


  • Fletcher Family Library – Known as the “FFL”, the librar5y is used by middle and upper school students throughout the day as a quiet place to get work done or meet with an advisor.


  • Patriot Store – Used by most students on campus, the Patriot stores as a mini cafeteria or convenience store, selling food items as well as Viewpoint Merchandise.


  • Carlson Family Theater – Known as the “CFT”, is used by all grade levels on campus as an assembly place or is home to the Performing Arts program. 


  • Middle School Classrooms – classrooms for students entering 6th-8th grade!
  • Black Box Theater – more compact theater, used for small productions, events or grade level assemblies.


  • Middle School Office – holds the offices of the head officers who run the Middle School


  • Seating Area – used mainly during lunch by middle school students as a way to convene and catch up with friends.


  • Kitchen’s Kitchen – Cafeteria used by middle and upper school students throughout the entire day


  • Upper School Classrooms – classrooms for students entering grades 9-12!


  • Upper School Plaza – located right outside the Upper School classrooms, used mainly by Upper School students during lunch and free periods as a space to complete work. Additionally, where senior speeches and other events are held.


  • Art Gallery – where Ceramics, Sculpture, Art, and Photography is located for middle and upper school students.


  • Paul Family Athletic Center – Known as the “PFAC”, the athletic center located on the east side of campus is mainly used by middle and upper school students as their immediate gym. The Athletic center also holds all-school events (like convocation) and the sports offices. 


  • Love of Learning Wall – Known as the “LOL” wall, it is used mainly by middle and upper school students during lunch. Also, the LOL wall is used as a meeting place or as an event holder.


  • Main Pool – Used by middle school and upper school students, the pool located in the very east side of campus is home to the swim team.


  • Balban Webster Team Center – Known as the “Weight Room”, oin the bottom half of the building is where several sports train with equipment. While on the top half, you will find spacious locker rooms used by many sports.


  • Ring Family Field – The main field for the patriots is used for competitive sports as well as big events(like Middle and Upper School graduation ceremonies!).


  • Upper School Office – holds the offices of the head officers who run the Upper School!


  • Locker Rooms and Sports Offices – located in the PFAC, you can find locker rooms and the Sports Office that hold the majority of the Coaches. Also, you can visit the medical trainer or the workout room.


  • College Counseling Offices – located in the Upper School Plaza, it is home to our College Counseling Officers. These offices are a place where you can meet and discuss with your personal college counselor.
