Mia Nelson, Staff Writer
Mia Nelson (24') is a lifer at Viewpoint and has been extensively involved with the theatre and dance departments at the school for many years. She has performed in numerous dance concerts, participated in Middle School Vocal Ensemble, and performed all three years in the Middle School musicals. Outside of school, Mia has trained for 12 years with California Dance Theatre, the training school for the Pacific Festival Ballet. She has danced in over a dozen ballets at the Civic Arts Plaza in Thousand Oaks. She is currently in her first year of training with PFB's pre-professional ballet program. Mia also enjoys volunteering at various organizations throughout the Conejo Valley and loves to travel with her family.
